ASC holds mass oath-taking ceremony of 109 newly appointed and promoted employees


Luna, Apayao – The Apayao State College held a mass oath-taking ceremony for 109 newly appointed and promoted employees on March 8, 2024 as it celebrates its 26th founding anniversary.


The said employees representing various categories of workforce within the institution. This group included 44 reclassified faculty members, 35 newly appointed instructors, 10 casual appointees, and 9 contractual appointees.


Among those who took the oath were individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to education and service. Notable appointments include Dr. Mirasol Agpuldo, Dr. Randy Cabilatazan, Constancio Maslang Jr., Leilani Parugrug, and Dr. Ruth Tumaneng, who were appointed as Associate Professors V. Additionally, Dr. Leandro Alla, Luningning Aribbay, Sonia Belarde, Zenaida Cruz, Annie Daet, Maribel Enriquez, and Magilyn Racacho were appointed as Associate Professors IV. The list continues with appointments of Associate Professors III, II, and I, Assistant Professors IV, III, II, and I, and an Instructor III.


Moreover, the 35 newly appointed instructors bring a fresh wave of expertise to various disciplines within the college, including business administration, criminology, information technology, education, agriculture, engineering, forestry, and hospitality management, among others.



In recognition of their longstanding dedication, loyalty awards were bestowed upon several employees. Peferto Cabalquinto and Dr. Mary Anne Umayam were recognized for 10 years of service, while Eunice Aloag, Satur Bangyad, Engr. Brent Begay, Yolanda Dalingay, Dr. Agustina Pattung, and Imelda Taguiam were honored for 15 years of service. Luningning Aribbay, Dr. Reymarie Caban, and Gemma Sibal received accolades for their remarkable 25 and 30 years of service, respectively.


The ceremony not only celebrated the professional milestones of the employees but also underscored the college's dedication to excellence in education and service to the yApayaos.


With these newly appointed and promoted individuals, ASC continues to uphold its mission of nurturing talent and advancing academic growth in the province.
